Wellness Forest Ito

This resort hotel by a river on the edge of Ito has separate large baths for men and women, each with an indoor tub, an open-air bath and a dry sauna. The onsen water is gentle and mild, nothing overpowering. A separate Kua House wing has a warm-water exercise pool with a jacuzzi and a walking bath, and there's a seasonal outdoor pool in summer. The building started life as a resort condominium, which is why the rooms tend to run larger than a typical hotel's. Bathing is for overnight guests only, no day-use visitors.
