Tsurusou is a small ryokan on the Ariake Sea coast, its name built around the two things it's known for: crab and sake. The indoor communal bath is filled with smooth, skin-softening hot spring water, and some of the guest rooms come with their own private outdoor bath. A separate reservable outdoor bath was renewed in 2024 with a new barrel sauna and cold plunge alongside the hot water, and it stays open to day visitors as well as overnight guests.
