Visitors aged 70 and up, and those with a physical, developmental, or mental health disability certificate, pay ¥320. Children up to elementary school age pay ¥270, and children under 3 bathe free.

Yutoroginoyu is a city-run day-use bathhouse built into Shimabara's covered shopping arcade. Inside is a main indoor bath, a separate medicinal bath, a cold plunge, and a sauna; the water itself is clear, without much smell or taste. There's also a free foot bath and a spot to drink the spring water. The rest room is a spacious 30 tatami mats, with a foot-massage corner alongside it. It has the feel of an old neighborhood bathhouse rather than a tourist stop, more used by locals for a regular soak than by visitors passing through.
