About
Hotel Seaside Shimabara has two separate bath areas: the main-building Yujidokoro (湯治処) on the ground floor, with an open-air rotenburo and a large indoor bath, and the new-building panoramic bath on the sixth floor overlooking Ariake Bay. Both areas have onsen water alongside a natural carbonated spring, which is cool and unheated. The carbonated water is rare in Nagasaki and among the highest concentrations of any natural spring in Japan. Both areas also have a sauna. Day use is available.
