Day Use
YesOn Saturdays, the day before public holidays, and during Golden Week, Obon, and the New Year period, day-use bathing closes early at 15:00 instead of the usual 20:00. Closed Wednesdays.
Day-use bathing is 500 yen for adults and 250 yen for children age 3 and up; under 3 is free. An 11-visit coupon book is also sold.

Maruoka Onsen Takekurabe is a small ryokan in the hills outside Sakai, Fukui, with one indoor bath each for men and women, using spring water at full strength. Large windows look out over the surrounding satoyama countryside, which changes through cherry blossoms, fresh green, autumn color and snow. Day-use bathing and dining are both open to visitors who aren't staying the night.
