About

Kiho is a day-use bath in Nagaoka that also has a few guest rooms, and it runs on a naturally flowing spring. The main baths are a large indoor bath, a bubble bath, a sauna and a cold plunge, with rock, cypress and ceramic open-air baths, the ceramic one being a seasonal changing bath. You can also take a private open-air bath (kashikiri, 貸切) as a day-use visitor, and there is a heated stone bed room (ganbanyoku, 岩盤浴). Five of the guest rooms have their own open-air onsen bath. The site looks out toward the Higashiyama mountain range, and the daytime snack corner doubles as a place to eat. Tattoos are not accepted.
