About
Onsen Ono-yu in the Ishiki area of Kagoshima City is a natural onsen with a sodium chloride and bicarbonate spring. The bright and spacious main bath has a translucent roof that lets in light, with subtropical plants dividing the men's and women's areas, casting gentle sunlight reflections on the water surface. Facilities include an open-air bath, sauna, cold bath, waterfall bath, electric bath, jet bath, bubble bath, bedrock bath, private family baths in five types, a rest area, lockers with keys, and massage machines. It is accessible by turning off National Route 3 at Shimo-Ishiki and going 500 meters via Iwasaki Bridge, or a 4-minute walk from the Nakasako or Ishiki Ono bus stops. Parking is available for 70 cars.
