Harumiya Ryokan

Harumiya is a ten-room ryokan in Tsuchiyu onsen, in Fukushima city, and it is built around private bathing. Every room has its own onsen bath, and there are two private open-air baths, one by the stream and one with a view over the surroundings. They need no booking: when one is free, you lock it from the inside. The indoor baths are used as private baths too. All the water is natural Tsuchiyu onsen water. The open-air baths look out on the Arakawa river and the mountains around the village, so the scenery changes with the season. It closes now and then for maintenance, with dates announced on its Instagram.
