Moniwa no Yu (もにわの湯) is a day-use bath run by Fukushima City, up in the hills of Moniwa. There is an indoor bath behind glass walls and an open-air bath set among natural Moniwa stones, both with onsen water. Wash stations are provided, but soap and shampoo are not, so bring your own along with a towel. There is a rest room for lingering afterwards and a large parking lot. It is a local, unfussy place, a regular stop for older neighbors, and the road up from the Iizaka (飯坂) side is a mountain drive.
