About
Isobe Suzume Hot Spring Inn is a ryokan in Isobe onsen, an old hot spring town in Gunma. Natural spring water is piped in from the source and fills two garden-style indoor baths, Usui-no-yu (碓氷の湯) and Toji-no-yu (透滋の湯), plus an open-air rotenburo. There are also private kashikiri baths, and some rooms come with their own open-air tub. Guests often mention how smooth the water leaves the skin. Isobe onsen's history goes back a long way, and the spring is said to have flowed even more strongly after Mount Asama's 1783 eruption.
