About

Akinomiya Sanso is a hotel in Akinomiya Onsenkyo (秋の宮温泉郷), the old onsen village in southern Akita. The baths are varied: separate large men's and women's baths, an open-air bath, a jacuzzi, a sauna with a cold plunge, a Utaseyu (打たせ湯) where water falls on your shoulders, a reclining Nesoyu (寝湯) and a lukewarm Nuruyu (ぬる湯). Day-trip bathing (higaeri nyuyoku, 日帰り入浴) is open to non-guests, with a free rest room for visitors. It is a prefecture-run hotel with 41 rooms, a restaurant and a parking lot.
