YesLast entry for day-use bathing is 22:00, even though the baths themselves stay open until midnight.
Day-use prices are set separately for weekdays, weekends/holidays and peak dates, and separately for adults and elementary-school children; preschoolers and children under 3 bathe free. Towel rental is a separate 330 yen. A reservation-only dinner-buffet-and-bath plan is also sold, at a higher price than bathing alone.

Hotel New Shiobara, in Shiobara onsen, is part of the Oedo Onsen Monogatari chain. Bathing is split between two wings of hot-spring baths: the main building has an indoor rock bath, and the annex, Yusenkyo (湯仙峡), adds several more indoor baths, an open-air bath with a view of the waterfall, and a sauna. Day-use bathing is open without a reservation. Buffet dinner and breakfast, a post-bath lounge with free drinks and manga, karaoke and bowling round out the stay. Reviewers call it a good place to just relax indoors, since there isn't much around the hotel itself.
