About
A small ryokan in a renovated old farmhouse in the countryside of Ishikawa town, Fukushima. The baths are on the compact side: separate men's and women's baths with natural hot-spring water, plus a family bath (kazoku-buro, 家族風呂) that guests can book as their own, fully private. The soba is the other draw: freshly made juwari soba (十割蕎麦, 100% buckwheat) is served at lunch by reservation. Day visits come as a soba set meal in a guest room with the private bath included, and bath-only visits are not taken. It is a quiet place with little else nearby, run in a homely way.
