About

A sports resort hotel in the hills of Tanagura, with tennis courts, an indoor pool and a gym alongside the rooms and cottages. The baths use natural hot spring water that is gentle on the skin. Men's and women's baths are separate and swap every Thursday and Sunday, and the dry sauna and mist sauna swap with them. You don't need a room to bathe: day visitors are welcome (higaeri nyuyoku, 日帰り入浴), and a local reviewer says it is the main bath for the neighborhood and gets busy at certain hours. The feel is closer to a town-run facility than a polished resort, a bit dated but roomy, and a popular base for club training camps.
