Hotel Ichibata is a large hotel at Matsue Shinjiko Onsen, on the shore of Lake Shinji. The indoor bath looks straight out over the water, with a sauna that runs automatic steam bursts and a cold plunge beside it. There's no outdoor bath. Day-use bathing is open to non-guests. Restaurants, a banquet hall and shops around the lobby make it feel like a full-service resort hotel rather than a small inn.
