About
Chidoriyu is the only public bathhouse left in Matsue city, a small neighborhood sento using real onsen water piped in from Matsue Shinjiko Onsen (松江しんじ湖温泉). Inside there are just two tubs, one large and one small, and the smaller one changes its theme through the week. The washing area is roomy and comfortable, and there is no sauna or open-air bath. A small rest corner gives regulars somewhere to sit afterward, and parking in the same building can be validated at the front desk.
