Lakeside Hot Spring Hotel Kunibiki

The indoor bath has a wall mural of Izumo's Kunibiki (国引き) creation myth, and the water is drawn from 1,100 meters underground: a mild, salty spring said to smooth the skin and keep you warm well after you get out. The open-air bath looks straight over Jinzai-ko, with the lake in view by day and stars at night. Baths are separated by gender, and two room types, the lake side and town side twin rooms, add their own onsen tub in the room. This is a lakeside ryokan with seven glamping domes added alongside it, sharing the same baths and restaurant. The lounge looks out over the lake, and early risers can sometimes watch shijimi clam boats working the water at dawn.
