Day Use
YesDay-use bathing runs 6:00 to 9:00 and again 10:00 to 21:30 (closed in between for cleaning), and the bath is reserved for overnight guests after 21:30. The first and third Thursday of each month is a women-only bathing day.
700 yen for high schoolers and up, 500 yen for seniors 60 and over, 500 yen for elementary and junior high students, 300 yen for ages 3 to preschool. Sauna use costs extra.

Shikisou sits on Yunokawa Onsen, one of the three hot springs in Japan traditionally known as a bijin-no-yu (美人の湯), water tied to the Yagami-hime (八上姫) legend from the Kojiki and said to leave skin soft and moisturized. The outdoor bath looks out over seasonal scenery, and in spring it sits under its own cherry trees, known locally as the sakura bath. Beyond the ryokan's indoor and outdoor baths, Shikisou runs a separate sauna wing with a Finnish-style sauna, a cold plunge filled with the same spring water, a ticket-counter restaurant called Yufra, and capsule-style overnight stays for guests who come just for the sauna. It's also a dog-friendly inn, welcoming guests traveling with their pets.
