A hand-free set (rental towel plus shampoo, conditioner and body soap) is 1,000 yen. A 10-visit pass is 5,000 yen and is valid for one year.

Kohama Onsen Saichi-no-yu is one of three sotoyu (外湯), the communal bathhouses of Yunotsu Onsen, alongside Yakushiyu (薬師湯) and Motoyu (元湯). Its water runs noticeably cooler than the other two, a soft nuru-yu (ぬる湯) you can sit in as long as you like, faintly carbonated, a little cloudy and only lightly salty. A single tub serves each side, men's and women's. There are only two washing stations, but shampoo, conditioner and body soap are all supplied, unlike the other two baths in town. The mood is local and easygoing, regulars know each other, and the mild water suits kids too. The bath takes its name from Asahara Saichi, a local poet born in this same Kohama neighborhood. It closed in 2023 and has since reopened.
