Yutani Onsen Misenso is a day-use-only bathhouse set quietly in the mountains of Kawamoto, reopened in its current form in 2019. Inside are several small baths, including a medicinal herb tub and pottery tub baths in Shigaraki ware, along with a dry sauna, a mist sauna, and a cold bath; there is no outdoor bath, everything sits under one roof. The spring water is kakenagashi and runs on the cool side, so people tend to settle in for a long soak rather than a quick one. A restaurant next door serves food built around local perilla (egoma) and Iwami pork.
