Hotel Areaone Hiroshima Wing has its own hot-spring source feeding a large indoor bath, an outdoor bath facing the hills of Higashihiroshima, and a sauna. The water is gentle on the skin, with a light, clean finish. Day-use bathing is open to anyone, not just overnight guests, and the restaurant, Wanosaisai (和野彩々), welcomes bathers for dinner and drinks afterward and uses local ingredients such as beef from Togeshita (峠下牛). The hotel sits on a quiet hillside a few minutes from Hiroshima Airport, close to the sake breweries of Saijo (西条).
