A hot-spring hotel right on Amanohashidate, one of Japan's three classic scenic views. Beyond the large indoor bath there are two open-air baths, Amaterasu-no-yu and Tsukuyomi-no-yu, themed for the sun and the moon, and the men's and women's sides swap daily so a longer stay lets you try both. There's also a sauna that uses Himalayan rock salt and Korean loess, and a foot bath on the grounds fed straight from the source, looking out over the sandbar.
