A hillside day-use bathhouse above Oita City, with an open-air bath that looks out toward the sea, a large indoor bath, and separate private (kashikiri, 貸切) baths for those who want the tub to themselves. The sauna runs hot, and there's a deep, cool plunge bath for cooling off afterward. The water itself is brownish and faintly silky, and leaves skin feeling smooth. Palm trees and Hawaiian music around the car park give the place an unexpected resort mood, and there's a foot bath (ashiyu, 足湯) out front where you can watch the pigs kept in a pen nearby.
