Hotel Tetora Resort Tsuruoka

A resort hotel in Yunohama onsen (湯野浜温泉), near the Japan Sea coast of Tsuruoka. It has a large communal bath (daiyokujo, 大浴場) and an open-air bath, where guests mention the sea breeze, and some rooms look out over the water. Day-use bathing (higaeri nyuyoku, 日帰り入浴) is also available. The building is older and plain, but guests say it is kept clean and is easy to settle into. Overnight guests get a welcome drink of local sake.
