Chikutei is a hot-spring ryokan in Yunogo Onsen, one of Mimasaka's three onsen towns in Okayama. The main bathhouse is on the top floor, with separate men's and women's sides each opening onto a small open-air bath looking over the town and surrounding hills, and a second, annex rotenburo has more of a wooded feel. Two private baths can also be booked on their own, without a stay or meal plan, and some guest rooms come with their own hot-spring tub built from Okayama-grown cypress. The spring is known locally as Bijin-no-yu (美人の湯), a 'beauty bath'. Reviewers describe an old-fashioned, carefully kept inn with a kids' corner on the second floor and a lounge serving free soft drinks.
