There's a sauna too, though it only has a cold shower next to it, no plunge pool. A number of rooms have their own open-air or half-open-air bath fed straight from the hotel's spring, kept flowing rather than just filled and left. Meals are a casual Japanese-Western-Chinese buffet, and a free foot bath lets you soak your feet without changing out of your clothes. Yunogo Onsen is counted among Mimasaka's three notable hot springs, with a history said to stretch back some 1200 years.
