Kokusai Kanko Ryokan Nakamasu

This is an old ryokan in Takeo Onsen, built on a mild alkaline spring locally called bijin no yu (美人の湯), beauty-skin water, for how smooth it feels. Two indoor communal baths swap between men and women morning and evening: one has hinoki wood tubs and looks out over a garden, the other has a jet bath. The inn is known for mixing the warmth of a traditional Japanese ryokan with the comfort of a hotel.
