Day Use
YesBathing is open daily, 10am to 10pm (last entry 9:30pm), with one closure day a year for maintenance. The private family bath runs only on weekends and public holidays, 4pm to 9pm (last entry 8pm), and can't be reserved in advance.
Adult day-use bathing is 800 yen, child 400 yen (under 3 free). A one-time 300 yen membership sign-up brings it down to 700 yen for adults and 350 yen for children, and an 11-visit ticket book is also available: 8,000 yen for general visitors, 7,000 yen for members.

Kitagata Onsen Shiki no Sato Nanairo-no-yu runs on its own hot-spring source, soft and silky on the skin with a faint hint of sulfur. The main bathhouse has a large indoor bath and an outdoor rotenburo, along with a bubble bath, a waterfall bath (utaseyu) and a sauna, and on weekends and public holidays there's also a private family bath by the hour. It's a quiet ryokan with log-cabin rooms and Japanese-style rooms that come with their own open-air bath, open to guests around the clock. There's a restaurant for lunch and dinner, and banquet halls for group visits.
