Hama-no-yu is a small city-run communal bathhouse at the entrance to Obama Onsen town, the kind of place where you end up chatting with a local in the tub next to you. The indoor bath comes in two temperatures, a hotter one and a milder one for a longer soak, and the window opens right onto the sea, so the breeze drifts in while you bathe. There is a small rest area for a drink afterward.
