The bath here is called Sato no Yu (里の湯). It has an indoor bath with a couple of jet outlets, a sauna and a small covered rotenburo. Sauna mats are lent out at the reception, and it is worth borrowing one because the benches get hot. The rotenburo is compact, and the roof keeps rain and snow off but not the afternoon sun. The bath sits inside a larger complex run by a town foundation, with a restaurant, a shop selling vegetables from local growers and lodge rooms, so it works as a stop on a drive as much as a destination. Visitors can come just for a bath (higaeri nyuyoku, 日帰り入浴). The site does not say the water is hot-spring water, so treat it as a public bath.
