Yume Misaki

Yume Misaki is a large hotel on the Chikura coast in Minamiboso, with two floors given over to bathing. The ground-floor Japanese-style room has all-hinoki tubs, a garden rotenburo, a water-fall bath and its own sauna; the Western-style room next door has granite tubs, a hot sauna and an open-air jacuzzi bath. Seven floors up, a matching pair of rooftop baths, one Japanese-style and one Western, looks straight out over the Pacific and has its own steam sauna; there is no washing space up there, so guests rinse off downstairs first. A cave-styled private family bath opened in 2023, and a simpler one for parents with young kids sits alongside it, both free once per stay for overnight guests, plus a swimsuit-zone pool and jacuzzi. The spring water is salty and warming, piped into the ground-floor and rooftop baths and into some of the room categories too. It's an older building, well kept, with the sea view from the rooftop baths as the main draw.
