Kasuga Onsen is a clean, white two-story natural hot spring bathhouse located in Shimoarata, Kagoshima City. It features a sodium chloride spring with bicarbonate content, known to be beneficial for neuralgia and diabetes. The bathhouse offers a special herbal bath called Kampo-yu, made with 100% natural medicinal herbs such as basho and ginger, providing mild stimulation, sweating, moisturizing, and aromatic effects. Facilities include a sauna, cold bath, electric bath, bubble bath, and massage machines. It is accessible by a 3-minute walk from the Ninchudori tram and bus stop, with parking available for 10 cars.
