Mizuho Onsen is a natural sodium chloride spring located along Komaehon Street in Kamiaratacho, Kagoshima City. It opened in 1951 and became a hot spring in 1971. Inside the bathhouse, mosaic tiles depict the beautiful views of Satsuma Fuji and Kaimondake. The slightly greenish, hot water is effective for neuralgia and sensitivity to cold. Facilities include a sauna, cold bath, electric bath, lockers with keys, and a coin laundry. It is accessible near the Arata 2-chome intersection on Komaehon Street and the Kamiarata bus stop. Parking is available for three cars.
