Toba View Hotel Hanashinju

The baths at this Toba hotel look out over the bay, with hot-spring water piped in from Sakakibara Onsen (榊原温泉) in Mie. The indoor baths, Suigun-no-yu (水軍の湯) and Birei-no-yu (美麗の湯), sit above the water, and the hotel promotes its Sakakibara water as bijin-no-yu, a beauty-water bath. A separate outdoor bath called Yuyu (遊湯) is built in wood, lit warm in the evening with the sound of a falling-water utaseyu bath running nearby; the women's outdoor bath also has a rose bath alongside it. Reviewers describe the water as smooth and silky on the skin. There's no sauna and no private rental bath, and tattoos aren't allowed.
