Toki no Yu (時の湯) is a large bathhouse in Iwaki with natural hot spring water and a Showa-retro look. The outdoor side has a rock bath, a jar bath (tsubo-buro), a cypress bath and a lying-down bath for dozing in the water. Inside there is a plain hot bath, a jet bath, a shape-up bath, an electric bath and a cold plunge, plus a sauna with automatic loyly. Men and women bathe separately. It works as a full afternoon out: a dining hall (Hayama Shokudo), a relaxation corner, a tatami rest area and free parking on site.
