Day Use
YesThe bathing floors close in sections for cleaning: the men's floor partially, from 9:30 to 12:00 (only the area being cleaned is off limits), the women's floor fully, from 1:00 to 5:00 for maintenance. The men's day-use course runs from 8:00 to 10:00 the next morning; the women's runs from 8:00 to 23:00, with last entry at 22:00. The building itself never closes.
Day-use pricing depends on the floor and time of day. On the men's floor, the day pass (usable from 8:00 to 10:00 the next morning) is 3,100 yen on weekdays and 3,500 yen on weekends and holidays; shorter one to three hour courses start from 2,000 yen. On the women's floor, the day pass (8:00 to 23:00, last entry 22:00) is a flat 2,900 yen, with a one hour course from 1,900 yen. Ganbanyoku (岩盤浴) is an extra 520 yen unless you hold a membership card.

Kobe Sauna & Spa splits into two separate floors, men's and women's, each with its own capsule rooms and a full bathing floor filled with real hot-spring water. The men's floor has a large circular indoor bath, an open-air bath set in an airy open atrium, a main sauna, a cold plunge, a Turkish-style ganbanyoku (岩盤浴) room where you lie on heated marble, and a jet bath that mixes the onsen water with air into fine bubbles. The women's floor has its own indoor bath and ganbanyoku room, plus a mist sauna scented with rose oil. It's a favorite stop for Kansai's sauna crowd, and there's a restaurant on site.
