Day Use
YesLast entry is 30 minutes before closing (8:00pm on weekdays, 8:30pm on weekends and holidays). The regular Thursday closure is for legionella-prevention cleaning, and there can be additional irregular closures, so it is worth checking ahead.
Prices above are the standard rate before 16:00. After 16:00 the fee drops to 700 yen for adults and 300 yen for children, any day. Hitachiomiya residents aged 75 and over and disability-certificate holders (weekdays only) pay 400 yen, and children under 3 are free. Discount ticket books are sold at reception, and payment is cash only, no credit cards.

Shikisaikan is a day-use spa complex on a rise above the Naka River, with eight different baths under one roof: an outdoor rotenburo with hillside views, an indoor bath, a sauna, a cold plunge, a medicated bath and a small tub of lukewarm, unheated source water. The spring itself is iron-rich and is said to warm you through to the core. A large tatami hall seats close to 200 for resting between baths, and there is a restaurant on site.
