Day Use
YesDay-use bathing runs from 11:00 to 22:00 in two windows: daytime admission closes at 16:59, and the evening window opens at 17:00. After 22:00, the bath is for hotel guests only.
Daytime admission costs 1,100 yen plus tax, and evening admission costs 1,500 yen plus tax; both include a required towel set, since day-use guests cannot bring their own towel. Either way, you have 120 minutes from entry before you need to leave.

MASCOS HOTEL is a design-driven 'craft hotel' in Masuda, built with local kiln workshops, furniture makers and textile mills worked into the rooms and lobby. Its onsen comes from a spring drilled straight under the hotel in 2017, and the water is soft and smooth on the skin, the kind locals call a beauty bath. The bathing floor sits on the second level, with separate rooms for men and women: the women's side has a mist sauna, the men's a dry one. Day-use bathing is welcome alongside overnight guests, and the ground-floor MASCOS BAR & DINING is open to anyone in town, not just people staying the night.
