HOTEL Arrowle is a large resort hotel on the shore of Shibayama-gata lake, in Katayamazu Onsen (片山津温泉), with rooms and grounds facing the Hakusan mountain range. Its onsen bath, Kaga no Yu (加賀の湯), draws on water from Shibayama Onsen (柴山温泉): smooth on the skin, split between one indoor and one outdoor tub, on the usual separate men's and women's sides. A separate pool and spa wing adds a lap pool, Finnish and steam saunas and an outdoor jacuzzi, and the grounds have tennis courts, park golf and table tennis. With 130 rooms, several restaurants and banquet halls, it's built as much for families, groups and weddings as for a quiet soak.
