Kaga Yumenoyu

This is a big day-use bathhouse in Kaga with real hot-spring water. The bath hall has a carbonated bath and an electric bath alongside a walking bath, and a cold plunge that regulars praise for a faint mint tinge. Outside there is a rotenburo, and the sauna is roomy enough to be one of the draws on its own. A ganbanyoku stone-bed sauna and esthetic treatments, including akasuri body scrubbing, round things out. The food hall runs a wide menu, Japanese standards and ramen alongside Indian curry and yakiniku that reviewers keep mentioning. There is a manga corner, a game corner, a rentable room for groups, and parking big enough that reviewers call out how easy it is. The building shows some age, but small touches, like new hairdryers, show it is kept up. It is the kind of place people treat as a half-day out: a long soak, a meal, then home.
