早稲沢浜キャンプ場
Lakeside campground with a free hot-spring foot bath
Uses natural hot spring water
On-site or nearby parking available
Parking is charged per vehicle.
A campground on the shore of Lake Hibara (Hibara-ko, 桧原湖) in Urabandai. The hot-spring side of it is an ashiyu (足湯), a foot bath on the grounds that runs on natural spring water and is free to use. Note that there is no bath for soaking, so it is a place to rest your feet after a day of camping or fishing, not to bathe. Campers describe a quiet, well-kept site with clean toilets and wash areas, and a view across the lake to the Urabandai mountains from the sandy spot at the far end. It is also popular with bass anglers who launch boats here, so mornings can start early.
