Day Use
YesDay-use bathing is weekdays only, 10:00 to 15:00. If you're coming the day before a public holiday, call ahead, since the hours can differ then.
Towels are available for 100 yen (hand towel) or 200 yen (bath towel). A day-use plan with a bath and a meal starts at 2,000 yen, or with a bath, a meal and a room from 4,000 yen; the meal is a chef's-choice set that varies by budget and needs booking at least two days ahead.

Yunoyado Yururi is a small family-run lodge in the Urabandai forest near Lake Hibara. The spring water feels soft and gentle on the skin: the indoor bath, separate for men and women, runs on the hot side, while the single outdoor bath is milder and swaps between the two through the day. It's an unpretentious stay built around home cooking with local vegetables and river fish, and regulars keep coming back as much for the proprietress as for the bath.
