A small park built around the Daifunto (大噴湯), the famous geyser of Mine Onsen in Kawazu. It first erupted with a roar in 1926 and has kept going ever since, shooting near-boiling spring water up to about 30 meters on a fixed schedule several times a day. You can watch the show from the free foot bath, and there is a self-serve corner for boiling onsen tamago (温泉たまご, hot-spring eggs) in the source water.
