Kamogawa Grand Hotel is a large resort hotel on the Chiba coast. Its bathhouse, Umi no Kairo, looks out over the sea and mixes indoor and open-air tubs, including a lying-down bath, a rock-bed sauna (ganbanyoku), and a dry sauna. Baths are gender-separated. Guests can also book one of three private open-air baths, two facing the sea and one set toward the pine trees, and rooms on the premium floor come with their own open-air bath or view bath. Day-use bathing is available.
