Tabakoya Ryokan

A small family-run ryokan in the Hibara (桧原) area of Kitashiobara, Fukushima. Visitor accounts describe a narrow tiled indoor bath, separate for men and women, with room for about three people at a time. The water is Hibara onsen. It is a modest, local-scale place rather than a big bathing complex. A recent review mentions a notice that day-use bathing was paused, so check with the ryokan by phone before going.
