About

Kamenoyu is a neighborhood sento established in 1953, notable for its yellow exterior and traditional downtown atmosphere. The large bath uses an artificial onsen made with baked wheat stone (mugihanshi) that heats underground water rich in iron at 23°C. Facilities include a sauna, cold bath, waterfall bath, electric bath, jet bath, and bubble bath. A herbal medicinal bath effective for cold sensitivity, back pain, and neuralgia is popular among elderly visitors. It is located 300 meters from the Kamoike Ferry Entrance intersection, just after turning left at Miwa Nursery, and a 1-minute walk from the Miwa Chuo bus stop. Parking for 8 cars is available.
