YesDay-use bathing is currently limited to 12:00 to 22:00 (last entry 21:00), shorter than the usual 11:30 to 24:00. The bath also closes on unscheduled maintenance days announced by the ryokan.
Day-use entry is 1,200 yen for adults and 600 yen for children (age 1 through elementary school); a rental bath towel is an extra 100 yen.

Yumoto Kanko Hotel Saikyo is a ryokan in Nagato Yumoto onsen, by the river. The bathhouse has an indoor bath and two open-air baths, Asanagi and Yunagi, which swap between men and women monthly, plus a jet bath and a sauna. Three guest rooms come with their own open-air bath fed by kakenagashi (かけ流し) hot-spring water, and stay guests can also book a private rotenburo by the hour. The spring water itself is smooth and faintly alkaline. Between soaks there is a small foot-bath cafe where you can rest your feet in warm water.
