Price is for one visit to the pool and training room; the footbath outside is free. Junior-high students and younger swim free on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays, and preschoolers and visitors with a disability swim free with ID.

This is a municipal health promotion center in the Hamamura onsen area, built around a 20-meter indoor pool and a jacuzzi fed by hot-spring water instead of a conventional soaking bath. Swimsuits are required in both, and children of elementary-school age or younger need an adult who can swim with them in the water. Alongside the pool there's a training room and rooms you can rent for meetings or cooking classes. Out front, a free footbath sits next to a small monument to Lafcadio Hearn, who passed through Hamamura and wrote about the village. It's roomy and covered, and quiet enough on a weekday afternoon to have almost to yourself.
