YesA weekday adult day-use ticket for the bath is 1,600 yen (800 yen for ages 3 through elementary school); weekends, holidays and peak dates (Golden Week, summer, New Year) are 1,800 yen (900 yen for children). A rental towel set (bath towel and face towel) is an extra 500 yen.

Kusatsu Now Resort Hotel sits at the foot of the mountains, surrounded by forest, and forty of its guest rooms have their own open-air bath. The shared bathing hall has two indoor tubs, one hotter and one milder, plus an open-air bath, both kept flowing fresh from the source, along with a sauna and a plain-water jacuzzi. Five rental private baths use cypress and Shigaraki pottery tubs, each with its own tatami sitting room. Both the shared baths and the private baths are open to day visitors, including a plan that pairs lunch with a private bath. The overall feel is closer to an easygoing family resort than a formal ryokan, and some rooms look out over Mount Shirane's seasonal scenery.
