Poppo no Yu is a community bathhouse in Naganuma, Tsuruoka, open to day visitors. There are two kinds of indoor bath and two kinds of open-air bath, plus a sauna with a cold plunge. The Japanese-style bath looks out toward Mount Chokai. The Japanese-style and Western-style baths swap between men and women on odd and even days, so there is no mixed bathing. Shampoo, body soap and hair dryers are provided. The building also has a restaurant, a rest area and halls used for local events.
